2021 marks the first year Vietnam participated in the World Energy Council as an official member, allowing the country to prepare more effectively for the anticipated energy transition in the coming years, thereby contributing positively to the national commitment toward a Net Zero Emission society by 2050.

The collaboration between ICED and WEC-VN opens new opportunities for in-depth research on energy development following circular economy principles. This cooperation aims to generate sustainable values that support the development of Vietnam’s energy industry and contribute to the nation’s overall long-term prosperity.
